Today I have 2 layouts to share with you. They are  Scrapbook Steals MWM Coral 8 and 9!

The sketch for Coral #8 is from the wonderfully creative guest designer Venetia Holbrook.
For this MWM she used the Authentique Carefree Collection Kit!!  She inspired us with 3 amazing layouts.

Here is her incredible sketch....
.......and her is my layout!!!  peanuts anyone?

I had so much fun with this sketch and I know I will be using it again because it is so versatile!!!

This new MME Collection, Lost & Found 3 Oliver is so warm and "classy"!!!!
It was the perfect fit for these pictures of my youngest son's Grade 9 Graduation!!
I was SO proud of my Jacob.....he has worked so hard to fit in and do well while dealing with all the struggles that come with Autism!!!  He received the top Award, and scholarship that was a total surprise!  It was in recognition of his efforts, dedication and hard work towards school grades, school spirit, positive influence toward fellow students, school participation and growth in citizenship in and out of his school!!!!  On top of that he received awards for Academics, Citizenship, Guitar, and Service to the school!  And at the graduation ceremony he got up on stage alone, and sang a Beatles song while playing his guitar........it was amazing!!  This poor Mamma was a bundle of tears by the end of the ceremony!!!

Here are a few close ups....

Scrapbook Steals MWM Coral #7

Today I want to share with you my Coral #7 MWM from Scrapbook Steals!! I am a little behind on sharing many of my Mid Week Mojo's, but I will catch up with all of them when the Coral series is complete. For now......this is the latest!!!!
I must admit, when I found out that our wonderful Mojo Mamma was on the move I was a little panicked!!!!  Before I started doing the MWM with Scrapbook Steals, I had really dropped off doing layouts and had been creating mostly cards.  I just didn't seem to be able to find the creative energy to do a whole layout!!  Then I found Scrapbook Steals and the inspiring Kristy and a couple years later I have albums filled with layouts I LOVE!!!!   So of course, I was worried to learn she was not going to be there every week to shake my brain into a creative line LOL!!!!!
This is the second layout from SS since Kristy left.  And although I miss Kristy's style.....and yes, I have to dig much deeper to produce a layout I am happy with......I LOVE the challenge!!!!  And I think the change might be a good thing.  Maybe I was getting a bit lazy because Kristy was doing all the work for me LOL!!  So thank you Scrapbook Steals.  Although the new style of sketches might take some getting use to....I think it is a good thing and might just pull out more creativity than even I knew that I had!!!!

Coral #7 Sketch

And this is my take on the sketch
I made a few changes. But I love how it turned out!

The colors in this collection worked perfectly with the picture that I chose.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

The Paper Girls Challenge Blog!!!!

Today I want to share with you the layout that I created for The Paper Girls Challenge Blog!!! If you haven't visited this wonderful blog....you should stop in.  It is filled with an over abundance of inspiration and talent from some pretty special girls.  There is a new scrapbook challenge on every first and third Monday of the month!!!

Challenge #19 : Thank you!!!
I have many many things to be thankful for in my life.  First and foremost......my 5 incredible children.  Our life has not been an easy one the last 10 years and we have been through some pretty  tough times. And without the love and support of my kids I would have been lost!  So of course I knew exactly what picture I wanted to use for my layout.  It isn't always easy to get 5 kids all together in one place except during the holidays. A wonderful neighbour and friend of mine snapped a few pictures for us a couple years ago right before Christmas.

  This is my creation.......
 ............so Blessed & Thankful

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope this layout inspires you to think about what you are thankful for in your life.  Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends!!!!

SUPPLIES : Patterned Paper-echo park Winter Park Collection, Enamel Dots-MME, Letters-AC Thickers Marquise & Amy Tangerine Journal, Ink-Color Box Dragonfly Black, Twine-The Twinery Denim Blue, Brads & Buttons-MME

I'M BACK!!!!!!

Yes, I am finally back and I hope that I can now get back to blogging more often. Life has been pretty hectic since August......as I know it is for most of us. I spent a few months trying to spend as much time as possible helping out and my daughter Kelsie who is pregnant with her second daughter, and spending time with my sweet little grand daughter Blake who just turned 3.  Paul....Kelsies husband had to be away for 2 months for work, so my daughters and I wanted to fill in as much as possible. We had an amazing time with Miss Blake. We went to the Zoo, the Space and Science Center, the Beach, Shopping, made cabbage rolls, did crafts and scrap booking.......anything fun we could think of.  Then Miss Blake started preschool in September and we made sure she got there and was picked up on time everyday!!  Well almost everyday!!! Mommy was able to take some days off work to join in the fun sometimes also.  It was an amazing few months that I will cherish forever. And boy did I miss that little girl when I went home!!!!  I admit, I was one tired Grandma......but I love that little piece of heaven more than I even knew after spending so much time with her.

"Umma loves you Blake"

Here are a few pictures to share of our fun summer adventures!!!

Lacey Megan & Blake at the Space & Science Center

Although Blake thought the cabbage was pretty darn stinky while it was cooking......the end result was yummy!!!!   She LOVES Umma's Cabbage Rolls!!!

Our day at the Zoo was a real scorcher.......some cold ice cream was the perfect solution!!!!
Blake and I decided on Snowcones......yum!!!!!!

How lucky we are to have an amazing Beach/Park just blocks from Blakes home!!!! It is amazing!!! Nice clean water and sand to play in....we had a fabulous day there!!!

We tried to fit in a little scrap booking and crafting whenever possible!!!
Blake is a true artist!!!!!!

And this is how we ended many of our days.......crashed out tired on the couch!!!!

It was a fun filled 2 months that I LOVED!!!!!!!

Miss Blakes 3rd Birthday Party!!!!

I have so many fun things to share with you today!!! This weekend is my Granddaughter Blake's 3rd Birthday Party!!!!  When my kids were little I loved creating their  their birthday parties.  When Blake decided she wanted a Tinkerbell themed party,  so many ideas went through my head!! And this is what I came up with, with a little help and inspiration from Pinterest, and Blake's Mom, my daughter Kelsie!!!!!  Hope you enjoy!!!

I found this basket on sale for about $5.00 and it was perfect to hold all of the treat bags!!!

After I painted this wood basket I added forks wrapped in napkins to set by the cake!!!

In the past I have decorated many little bird houses, and I thought these little round ones fit well with the Pixie theme!!!

What is a Tinkerbell party without some Pixie Dust??? I found these salt and pepper shakers at the $ Store. A little bit of decorating and some green and purple 'Pixie Dust' and they are so adorable!!!

Every little Pixie needs a magical Tinkerbell bracelet!!!  I had so much fun creating these. So easy to make!!!

I still have some cupcakes to make and decorate and package up into pretty little Thank You gifts, and I will make sure to share them with you all tomorrow!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!
